Need help with song lyrics?!?

I am a pro singer, actress and dancer. right now i only sing other peoples songs, and i really wanna take my career to thenext level by writing my own lyrics. I can sing out random lines tht work wonderfully, but when i have the pen and paper infront of me, i cant think of anything. or i hate what ive come up with. What r some lyric writing tips?
