I need a computer ASAP!?

OK, I owned a Dell computer and bought it from the Dell web site. It lasted just until the warranty went out. The motherboard quit working. Dell offered to fix it for more than I paid for the new computer. So, I bought a new HP and it has been fine. As far as the extra components, you probably should get them, Not sure if you need the modem but it's better to have a few extra things now than need them later. That can get expensive.
