Would you tell on your family if they were lying about something just to not pay the bill.....?

I have some family members who will do anything just to save money! The scoop is my cousin got married in July and my aunt spent $15,000 total on the wedding. Basically my cousin married a man twice her age that no one has met because she is pregnant. I heard through the gvine that my aunt and a few others are trying to get out of paying the bill because they are lying and saying 18 members of the wedding experienced food poisoning and they want reimbursed $7,000. My aunt is always trying to scam money and threatens everyone she can- including disability. I'm tired of it so I called the GM of the banquet center and informed him she was lying and no one was sick. They were just hung over! He was so thankful because he thought they had an epidemic on his hands and was spending all this time and effort trying to figure out what happened. I informed him to call their bluff and come up with the evidence. Would anyone else rat their family out? I'm tired of her taking advantage others!
