Should I lock up my refrigerator and pantry to keep from overeating?

I tend to get bored and overeat, especially while my husband is at work. So I'm thinking of locking up the refrigerator and panty and giving my husband the only keys so that I can't overeat while he's away. I'll just buy a little mini fridge and put only what my toddler and I need in it each night for the next day. Any emergencies I can always go to the store. Good idea or completely stupid?
