Nintendo DSi Internet connection?

I'm getting a DSi soon, but i was told the internet connection to setting it up is a little different than the Lite, i can hook up to my Lite with ease using Linksys unsecured wireless connection, So should i be able to hook up the DSi with no problem? And i would prefer an answer that is confirmed correct and guranteed and no"uhhh, maybe.. etc" Thanks!
