Do you know what an dapple dandy plum is and how to tell if it's a sweet one?

I seem to have trouble finding this variety of plum. The one I first had at a farmer's market was so good and juicy, but every time I ask our produce guy at the supermarket, he looks at me like I'm crazy or point me to any old plum that doesn't look like the one I tried.
